What is the difference between the public tour and the private tour?
Both tours follow the same program, which lasts about an hour and a half.
Private Tours: Private tours are exclusively for you and your guests. You can start anytime between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Private tours include round-trip transportation, and we will pick you up and drop you off anywhere in the DFW area. You can also customize the program by adding stops for dinner or drinks to the itinerary.
Public Tours: Public tours start at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM daily. Guests are picked up at the parking lot behind the Crate and Barrel store at 3104 Knox St, Dallas, TX 75205. During this tour, you will share the experience with other guests.
Can you accommodate groups with more than 30 guests?
Yes, for groups larger than 30, we will divide the group into smaller parties. Due to Highland Park's narrow streets, holiday traffic, horse-drawn carriages, and pedestrians, we are unable to operate vehicles larger than 30 seats in the area.
Can my infant sit on my lap during the ride?
No, in Texas, it is illegal for a child to sit on an adult's lap in a moving vehicle. State law requires that all passengers, including children, be properly secured in their own seat with appropriate restraints. Specifically, children under 8 years old, unless they are taller than 4 feet 9 inches, must be secured in a child safety seat or booster seat.
Please note that, due to liability and insurance constraints, we do not provide child safety seats or booster seats. You will need to bring your own to ensure compliance with the law and the safety of your child.
Would you pick us up?
Yes, private tours include round-trip transportation from anywhere in the DFW area (within a 30-minute commute to Highland Park). If your location requires more than 30 minutes of travel, we will need to add additional time to the tour to account for the commute.
Can I add stops to a private tour?
Yes, you can add stops to the program during a private tour, including time for dinner or a cocktail hour. Please note that this will extend the duration of the experience.
Can you make reservations for dinner or drinks?
Yes, we can assist with reservations for dinner or drinks.
Where do we meet if we do a private tour?
We can pick you up or meet you at any location you request in the Dallas – Fort Worth area. We will determine the appropriate vehicle depending on the number of guests in your group.
How long does the tour last?
A private tour typically lasts between 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions and the number of participants. In addition to this, we account for the commute time to Highland Park from your designated pickup location. As a general guideline, we reserve 3-4 hours for the entire experience.
If you choose to add dinner or cocktails to the tour, we will extend the duration to ensure your requirements are fully accommodated and you have a seamless experience.
What time of transportation do you use?
The type of transportation provided depends on the size of the group. We can accommodate groups of up to 13 guests in a Mercedes Sprinter or up to 30 guests in a minibus. All vehicles feature large windows and climate control to ensure our guests have an exceptional experience.
Additionally, all our vehicles are fully insured and maintained under a strict service schedule for your safety and comfort.
For groups larger than 30 guests, we will divide the group into smaller parties to ensure everyone travels comfortably.
What time does the tour start?
This is a private tour, and you can choose to start anytime between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Starting earlier offers the convenience of planning dinner after the tour, should you decide to do so. If you prefer a later start, we can pick you up from a restaurant or bar and drop you off at home after the tour.
Can I bring food, drinks and alcoholic beverages on the tour?
- Glass containers are not permitted for safety reasons. Please use containers with lids.
- Avoid bringing food that may splash or spill, as it could damage the vehicle’s surfaces or inconvenience other attendees.
- Any damage to the vehicle or harm caused to others due to spills or splashes will be your responsibility.
Can we drink alcohol on the tour bus?
Yes, you need to bring your own booze.
